Automotive industry meets a considerable development of its production of fluid transport, oil, fuel, air and water.
Indeed it is a question of producing parts from an extrusion process.
To do it Corelco developed for several years specific extrusion lines.

THE VACUUM TECHNOLOGY
This system is divided in several independent parts to avoid air leak, guaranteeing a real good forming.
THE VARIABLE LENGTH
The corrugator must accepted all production series of pipes imposed by the car manufacturers.
And for that always looking for productivity, the mould blocks chain length is adjustable according to the requirements.
The design is done in way to reduce as maximum as possible the time change of mould blocks chain length.
SEQUENTIAL RUNNING MODE – THICKNESS CONTROL
In sequential running mode, mould blocks speed is modulated, increased or decreased according pipe's diameter, to match the request thickness.
It permits to produce specifics pipes including for the same pipe different patterns, different diameters and same or different thickness.
A management software permits to save each programm files corresponding to each type of production.
IN LINE CUTTING
The system works following 2 modes, 1 predefined length cutting or from a detected point on pipe.
The detection system allows to cut from a specific profile (top of wave) with an accuracy of 0,2 to 0,5 mm.
The system is completed by a conveyor belt with 1 or 2 collection bin, able to sort, to detect the production and to put away the off cut (scrap).
THE MOULD BLOCKS
Two ranges are available, the mould blocks in quenched steel or the mould blocks in aluminium with a specific coating, increasing thermical exchange and abrasion resistance.
To decreased costs, we suggest a set of insert holders, so to realize a prototype, only the insert purchase is necessary.
